Meanwhile, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), helping the Government develop Wakatobi Marine National Park area to be the Eco-tourism.

Representative of JICA - Lilis said in an effort to help develop the Wakatobi Marine National Park area so the tourist area of JICA has been several times to train park staff to foster community, especially on the island in order to behave Kapota lingungan and friendly to tourists.

"Wakatobi Marine National Park has a diversity of coral reefs are quite high, so it is suitable to be developed into a tourist area," said Lilis.

According to him, to be a tourist area, Wakatobi National Park should be free from a variety of activities that could harm the environment. Every community in their efforts to harness the potential of natural resources within the National Park area and develop a productive economic activities, to support environmental conservation and tourism activities.

"Wakatobi is located in the central triangle of the world's coral reefs, not only has diverse coral reefs but also has a variety of interesting sights, particularly cultural traditions and local knowledge," he said.

Meanwhile, Hugua said it welcomed and greatly appreciated JICA's assistance to develop the Wakatobi Marine National Park so the tourist area.
